This training is a refresher cosmetic tattoo course for those who need to update and refresh their tattoo technical and artistry skills and is specifically designed to meet the learning outcomes of the individual needs of students, whether it is brows, lips or eyeliner tattooing.

What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing, also called permanent makeup (PMU), has delivered many benefits to women of all ages. The ability to semi-permanently enhance your appearance, while achieving a natural look, holds much appeal. Cosmetic tattoos can be helpful for a range of reasons.
Cosmetic tattooing can help:
- Busy people save time by removing the need to apply makeup on a daily basis
- Correct a physical issue or flaw such as over plucked eyebrows, eyebrow scars, pale and unevenly coloured lips, or eyes with little definition
- Women who struggle to apply their makeup because of poor vision or watery eyes
- If people want their makeup to last. Sometimes makeup doesn’t even last for a full day or for an entire event.
The Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy Experience
Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy provides an exclusive environment, with a professional, highly qualified and experienced Trainer (your Trainer is internationally qualified and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment). This exclusive training is one-on-one or in small groups allowing for customisation to suit your individual goals to learn and master the art of Cosmetic Tattooing, Eyebrow, Eyeliner and Lip contour, blend & shading procedures. The price includes all training materials during your training day, supervised practice on live model(s), theory and practical exam and your certificate.
The Refresher Course

During this course, we will focus on the areas that pose the greatest challenges for you. We will discuss prior to your scheduled training, what areas you would like to focus on so that we can organise the training in the most beneficial way for you to get the most out of the training.
Please keep in mind that these training sessions are personalised to each individual. There are no weaknesses, capabilities, or levels of confidence that are the same for everyone.We’re going to focus on YOU, so that we can improve your skill level and gain back your confidence in delivering a high quality service for your clients that makes them keep coming back for more depending on your goals.
Review Cosmetic Tattoo Techniques
During our Refresher Training we can review different cosmetic tattoo techniques such as solid, powdered (ombre) or feathering eyebrow application, upper and lower eyeliner, lip shading tattooing.
We also can have a look your hair stroke patterns, your stretching technique or working position. Or do you feel the eyebrow mapping is too complicated? Perhaps you were not given clear guidance on how to do this properly. No problem we will show you a simple and an effective method that follows the client’s anatomical features. (So no stencil or stamp is needed. Never use them.)
Perhaps you don’t quite understand colour theory. If this is a challenge for you, we can show you what to look for in pigment, what colours cannot be used on their own and what colours cannot be mixed; safe and unsafe pigments, and why some colours change in the skin, and you will also learn some colour correction techniques.

PMU Device
During your course, you need to bring your current device and/or microblading tools and your own needles/ cartridges to your machine. You will also be able to have a turn on our devices to see if you like them better, and you will also have the opportunity purchase a one at a significant discount, if you choose to do so. We will order one in for you.

*Please note that if you feel that 2 days won’t be enough to refresh your knowledge, then our Comprehensive Course may be a better option for you, The Comprehensive Cosmetic Tattoo course covers the most popular treatment areas, including eyebrows, eyeliner and lips over 5 days and is designed to help people who have no experience whatsoever. Our other course option is where you can spend 3 days specialising in just one area at a time such as eyebrow only, or eyeliner only, or lip only. Booking and Course Completion

Once we have agreed on a course date, you can pay in full your course ONLINE or you call the clinic on 0493 216 360. (Please read our terms and conditions about deposit, payment plans, cancellation and re-scheduling). Student are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $1000 to secure course dates with the balance of course fees to be paid no later than 3 working days prior to course commencement.
If a kit is ordered as part of your package, please note that it requires up to 2-2.5 weeks to arrive.
Upon a successfully completed practical levels and theory assessment you will receive a Certificate of Completion in Cosmetic Tattooing, Eyebrow, Eyeliner and Lip Procedures and in Microblading Procedures at Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy.
You will be able to get your professional liability insurance, your local council’s skin penetration license, and purchase products at any professional beauty supplier.
However, for your local council’s skin penetration license, you are required to obtain:

What To Bring
Models
You are welcome to bring a friend or relative who is has no contraindication to perform the treatment. All treatments are supervised by your trainer. (Model Fee: $25)
Camera
It is also good practice to take before and after photos of your models (clients) as part of your training, hence make sure you bring your camera. You models will need to complete a Social Media Consent Form so that you have permission to use these photos later.
Lunches
During the lunch period, you can buy lunch at nearby shops and cafes. In addition, Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy provides a lunch room with a refrigerator, microwave-oven, and tableware. Coffee, tea and tap water is also available.
