How Does it Work?
The lash enhancement tattoo, unlike the traditional tattooing, is done on the most sensitive and prominent area of the face. While permanent tattoos use ink, cosmetic tattooing is done with pigments selected according to one’s skin tone or undertones. There are a variety of pigmented colours to choose from, but the most common one used for eyeliner is the black pigment. The procedure uses a micro blading technique that lightly fills in colour as close as possible to the lash line. Before the process, the tattoo technician applies an anaesthetic cream on the eyelids to numb the area and lessen the pain. The session lasts for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the thickness and style of eyeliner that you want to sport.

How long does a lash enhancement tattoo last?
Results can last up to five years – much longer than Microblading. Just think of all the time and money clients save on lash extensions, eyeliner and often mascara, as well!
Will my lash enhancement tattoo hurt?
Before the procedure begins, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anaesthetic during the procedure. You will, however, feel a small, persistent scratching sensation while your lashes are being bladed.
Will my Lash Enhancement tattoo look fake?

How long does it take to heal?
If there is some flaking, please do not pick, pull or rub. Allow the flakes to come off on their own. This process can take up to 2 weeks. The complete healing process takes approximately 4-6 weeks, at which time the true colour of the tattoo is evident.
Who is an ideal candidate for a lash enhancement?
Anyone who wants longer, darker, healthier-looking lashes, even those who have naturally sparse lashes or suffer from medical issues that cause their lashes to fall out, might benefit from lash augmentation (e.g. alopecia). Those with Graves’ Disease and glaucoma may not be a good candidate. If you’ve just had eye surgery or plan to have surgery in the near future, you should wait.
