The advantages of Chin Wax
Is it OK to wax your chin?
Facial hair typically grows faster than other hair on your body and should, therefore, be waxed every two to three weeks. The chin, upper lip, eyebrows, and cheeks are some of the most common areas of the face to have waxed, though it’s possible to have it done anywhere that unwanted hair appears.
Does waxing chin hair make it worse?
You actually do not need to worry, as waxing or removing darker or thicker facial hair does not make more hair grow, or make hair thicker, as the myth leads people to believe. Over time, many find that waxing causes their hair to thin and become less noticeable.
How long does chin hair have to be to wax?
Your chin hair must be at least a quarter of an inch long in order for the wax to stick to it. If you want to eyeball it, the chin hair should be as long as an eyelash to make the waxing as effective as possible.
Is it better to pluck or wax chin hair?
Waxing: Easily grabs onto all hair, even fine ones. You get a very smooth surface if it’s done correctly.
Tweezing: Can grasp thicker hairs, but finds it more difficult to remove fine ones. So some “fuzz” can still remain.
