What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic tattooing, also called permanent makeup (PMU), has delivered many benefits to women of all ages. The ability to semi-permanently enhance your appearance, while achieving a natural look, holds much appeal. Cosmetic tattoos can be helpful for a range of reasons.
Cosmetic tattooing can help:
- Busy people save time by removing the need to apply makeup on a daily basis
- Correct a physical issue or flaw such as over plucked eyebrows, eyebrow scars, pale and unevenly coloured lips, or eyes with little definition
- Women who struggle to apply their makeup because of poor vision or watery eyes
- If people want their makeup to last. Sometimes makeup doesn’t even last for a full day or for an entire event.
Our Course
Our permanent make-up (PMU) course is designed for beginners and beauticians interested in pursuing professions in the micro pigmentation of brows and lips.The course will cover essential PMU artistic skills, as well as basic face anatomy, colour theory, infection and contamination risk explanations, needle configuration, and much more. The goal of this course is to provide future PMU artists with the skills and resources they’ll need to improve their mastery and revenue in the profession.
The Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy Experience
Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy provides an exclusive environment, with a professional, highly qualified and experienced Trainer (your Trainer is internationally qualified and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment). This exclusive training is one-on-one or in small groups allowing for customisation to suit your individual goals to learn and master the art of Cosmetic Tattooing, Eyebrow, Eyeliner and Lip contour, blend & shading procedures. The price includes all training materials during your training day, supervised practice on live model(s), theory and practical exam and your certificate.
There Are 3 Training Options That You Can Choose From:
Option 1: Comprehensive Cosmetic Tattoo Course
This course includes Feathertouch Brows,Ombre Brows, Nano Lips + Eyeliner
This is a good option, if you have never had any experience, training or qualifications in cosmetic tattooing and covers the most popular treatment areas.
When you attend the 5 Day Comprehensive Cosmetic Tattooing course you will receive:
- Your choice of the permanent cosmetic procedures that you desire free of charge: lip liner, full lip colour, eyeliner or eyebrow
- A student kit to get you started
- Training manual and supplemental materials
- Full hands-on experience including eyeliner, brows, and lip procedures
- Student completes procedure from consultation, treatments, documentation through to post care with client
- Student / teacher ratio is small, one-on-one or small groups
- Certificate awarded for achievement in Cosmetic tattoo treatments
Course Includes:
Study with hands-on training. Design and perform a cosmetic micro pigment tattoo:
- Eyebrows shaded or powdered
- Eyeliner (upper and lower)
- Lips (lip line, lip blend)
- Beauty spots (optional)

You have opportunity to learn only one area at a time.If you don’t want to learn all 3 areas, rather prefer eyebrows only (or eyeliners, or lip only)
Eyebrow Training
This course will cover:
- Eyebrows theory
- Eyebrows design
- Eyebrows hairstroke patterns (most advanced styles)
- Eyebrows feathering and powdering technique with digital machine
- Tips and tricks about eyebrow cosmetic tattooing
- Practice on paper and on fake skin
- Design and treatment demonstration
- Unlimited post training support
Duration: 3 days
Cost: $5,500 inc GST
This training (option 2) does include a PMU Device valued at $2500 (for 1 of the 3 day trainings only ie if you do all 3 areas of trainings- eyebrows, eyeliner, lips- you only receive one device).
OPTION 3: Focus on One Modality at a time (1 day training)
This option is if you are already an experienced tattoo technician and just need to increase your services or would like to refresh your skills, you have opportunity to learn only one area at a time.If you don’t want to learn all 3 areas, rather prefer eyebrows only (or eyeliners, or lip only).
Eyebrow Training
This course includes:
- Eyebrows theory
- Eyebrows design
- Eyebrows hairstroke patterns (most advanced styles)
- Eyebrows feathering and powdering technique with digital machine
- Tips and tricks about eyebrow cosmetic tattooing

This option (option 3) does not include a PMU device.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please note that Option 2 an Option 3 trainings are strictly one on one or in small groups and does NOT INCLUDE a KIT.However, Option 2,does include a PMU Device valued at $2500 (for 1 of the 3 day trainings only ie if you do all 3 areas of trainings- eyebrows, eyeliner, lips- you only receive one device). Option 3 does not include a PMU device as this designed for an experienced cosmetic tattoo technician.

Once we have agreed on a course date, you can pay in full your course ONLINE or you call the clinic on 0493 216 360. (Please read our terms and conditions about deposit, payment plans, cancellation and re-scheduling). Student are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of $1000 to secure course dates with the balance of course fees to be paid no later than 3 working days prior to course commencement.
If a kit is ordered as part of your package, please note that it requires up to 2-2.5 weeks to arrive.
Upon a successfully completed practical levels and theory assessment you will receive a Certificate of Completion in Cosmetic Tattooing, Eyebrow, Eyeliner and Lip Procedures and in Microblading Procedures at Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy.
You will be able to get your professional liability insurance, your local council’s skin penetration license, and purchase products at any professional beauty supplier.
However, for your local council’s skin penetration license, you are required to obtain:
Pre-requisite Unit SHBBINF001 Maintain infection control standards

What To Bring
Models
You are welcome to bring a friend or relative who is has no contraindication to perform the treatment. All treatments are supervised by your trainer. (Model Fee: $25)
Camera
It is also good practice to take before and after photos of your models (clients) as part of your training, hence make sure you bring your camera. You models will need to complete a Social Media Consent Form so that you have permission to use these photos later.
Lunches
During the lunch period, you can buy lunch at nearby shops and cafes. In addition, Bloom Clinique Beauty Academy provides a lunch room with a refrigerator, microwave-oven, and tableware. Coffee, tea and tap water is also available.
